Job summary

Rullion Managed Services is seeking a Welding Field Engineer to join the Construction Surveillance team at Hinkley Point C in Somerset on a contract basis. You will apply hands-on welding expertise and NDT knowledge on site to support quality and safety.

The role requires CSWIP 3.2 Welding Inspector qualification, strong field welding experience and the ability to review processes, witness NDT activities, and maintain clear surveillance records across contractor work.

Qualifications

• CSWIP 3.2 Welding Inspector qualification is essential.
• Hands-on welding experience is required.
• Strong NDT knowledge and experience.
• Experience in field surveillance and inspection of welding works.

Responsibilities

• Carry out welding, fabrication and NDT surveillance across site.
• Monitor contractor activities against Quality Control Plans and inspection requirements.
• Verify works are constructed per contract, drawings and standards.
• Witness NDT activities (UT, MT/MPI, PT/DPI) and review QC records.
• Maintain accurate surveillance records and identify quality issues for NCRs.
