Rullion is seeking a Field Engineer - NDT & Welding Inspector for an ongoing contract at Hinkley Point C, Somerset. You will provide independent surveillance of welding, fabrication and construction activities, ensuring compliance with drawings, requirements and quality plans.
Reporting to the Construction Superintendent, you will review NDT evidence, raise NCRs and liaise with contractors to maintain safety and quality in a high-profile nuclear project.

Rullion is recruiting a Field Engineer - Welding & NDT Inspector to join the site's construction surveillance team. This is a field-based opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to the work: inspecting installations, engaging with contractors and identifying quality issues before they become bigger problems.
We welcome applications from candidates across nuclear, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, chemical and water industries, alongside other regulated engineering and construction environments. If you understand welding quality, inspection discipline and the importance of traceable records, your experience could transfer well to this role.
Reporting to the Construction Superintendent, you will provide independent surveillance of welding, fabrication and construction activities, checking that work complies with approved drawings, contractual requirements and quality arrangements.
You will combine technical judgement with a practical approach to contractor relationships-challenging concerns clearly, supporting their resolution and helping maintain a strong nuclear safety culture.
