Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Architect Engineer - Engineering Manager to join our Engineering & Technical Services team in the UK. The role supports our client’s UK nuclear fleet through transformation and new SMR development, delivering projects across build, life extension, and defueling.

You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, manage stakeholder interfaces, and develop engineering strategies to meet time, cost and safety requirements. Flexible working patterns are available.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified or equivalent in engineering with extensive design experience.
• Chartered Engineer or Fellow with demonstrable experience.
• Nuclear industry experience and safety case familiarity is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multi-discipline engineering teams to deliver complex solutions on varying project sizes, to time, cost and quality.
• Marshall projects through FEED to solution delivery.
• Act as Architect Engineer, owning technical challenges and stakeholder interfaces to implement solutions.
• Develop and deliver clear engineering strategies and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Support resourcing, scheduling and change control with the Project Manager.
