Job summary

Amentum is recruiting an Architect Engineer - Engineering Manager to lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams across nuclear projects in the UK, from FEED to delivery. The role focuses on timely, cost-effective solutions and strong stakeholder engagement to support safe plant operation and decommissioning efforts.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified or equivalent in engineering with extensive design experience.
• Chartered Engineer or Fellow status or equivalent.
• Mechanical, Process, EC&I, Structural Integrity or Civils background is essential.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams on nuclear projects.
• Proven ability to manage safety case and regulatory interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multi-disciplined engineering teams to deliver complex solutions on time and budget.
• Act as Architect Engineer, owning technical challenges and interfaces.
• Develop and deliver engineering strategies and engage stakeholders.
• Support resourcing, costs, schedules, and change control activities.
• Ensure safety case alignment with design development.
• Deliver projects across lifecycle from FEED to delivery.
