Job summary

Assystem is seeking a Simulation and Assessment engineer in the UK to deliver Finite Element Analysis of nuclear components in line with ASME III or RCC-M. You will plan, execute, and report projects, coordinating with customers and internal teams.

The role blends embedded team work with remote outcomes, and offers hybrid work with some office presence across the UK. A strong technical background and UK travel readiness are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent technical fundamentals; aptitude for calculations and structures/mechanics.
• Hands-on modelling with Abaqus, Ansys, Nastran, CFD or equivalent.
• Experience with ASME RCC-M, KTA or similar codes in safety-related work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver FEA assessments of nuclear components to design codes such as ASME III or RCC-M.
• Plan, execute, and report projects; communicate with customer technical leads.
• Work with client teams or deliver projects from Assystem offices.
