Job summary

Assystem UK Ltd is seeking an experienced simulation engineer to deliver FEA assessments of nuclear components to design codes such as ASME III or RCC-M. You will plan, execute, and report projects while coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.

The role involves working within our Simulation and Assessment team, travelling to UK sites as needed and collaborating across multi-disciplinary environments on high-integrity projects.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Abaqus, ANSYS, Nastran and CFD.
• Understanding of ASME III or RCC-M safety codes.
• Engineering degree (or equivalent).
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel within the UK.

Responsibilities

• FEA assessments of components for nuclear systems to ASME III or RCC-M codes.
• Plan, deliver, and report simulation projects and findings.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders such as customer technical leads.
