Job summary

Assystem, a leading nuclear engineering firm, is hiring a Simulation and Assessment engineer in the United Kingdom. You will join a team delivering finite element analyses of components for nuclear codes such as ASME III or RCC-M, with planning, delivery, reporting, and stakeholder communication responsibilities.

You may work with client teams in an integrated embedded setup or deliver projects from one of our offices, with hybrid working 1-2 days remote per week and opportunities for training

Qualifications

• Engineering Degree (or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience with modelling codes such as Abaqus, Ansys, Nastran, CFD.
• Experience with nuclear codes such as ASME III, RCC-M or comparable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and report FEA assessments for nuclear components.
• Communicate with customer’s technical leads and stakeholders.
• Work in integrated client teams or deliver projects from Assystem offices.
