Job summary

Babcock International invites graduates to join the Safety Engineering Graduate Programme based in Bristol. You will rotate through placements across submarine engineering projects, learning to identify and mitigate risks in safety-critical systems while working toward professional accreditation.

The two-year programme includes mentorship, masterclasses, and support toward BPSS/SC/NNPI clearances. A starting salary of £35,000 is offered with potential growth as you progress within the nuclear

Qualifications

• Degree in one of the listed engineering disciplines required for programme eligibility.
• Must be able to achieve and maintain BPSS, Security Check (SC) and NNPI clearance.
• UK national status may be required by national security provisions.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through placements across submarine engineering teams to gain breadth and depth in safety engineering.
• Learn to identify, analyse and mitigate risks in safety-critical systems and nuclear environments.

Education

BEng / MEng / BSc / MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Electrical, Electronic, or Systems Engineering
