Job summary
Stantec is seeking an experienced Nuclear Safety Case Consultant to join our growing nuclear safety capability in the UK. You will deliver high‑quality safety advice to major clients across the nuclear lifecycle, including new build, operations, decommissioning and defence programmes.
In this role you will develop and review safety cases, perform hazard analyses and radiological assessments, and collaborate with engineering teams to embed safety into delivery, while communicating clearly with
Qualifications
- Experience in nuclear safety case development within civil or defence environments.
- Strong knowledge of UK regulatory framework (ONR, DNSR).
- Track record of delivering safety case inputs and radiological assessments.
Responsibilities
- Developing, reviewing and assessing safety cases across lifecycle stages
- Providing expert input into safety management and licensing
- Leading technical work packages including radiological safety analysis
- Engaging with clients, regulators and project teams
