Job summary

Assystem GmbH in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Safety Case Engineer to join our nuclear safety team. You will lead safety assessments for nuclear facilities and support a range of projects across the UK, including new build, operating facilities, decommissioning and waste management.

We value senior expertise in UK regulatory requirements and international standards, and you will mentor juniors while helping develop business with clients and bids.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable senior-level experience producing safety assessments for nuclear facilities.
• Strong understanding of UK regulatory requirements and international standards.
• Ability to lead projects and support business development.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety case development for diverse UK nuclear projects.
• Coordinate safety assessments for new builds, operating facilities and decommissioning.
• Support bids and client relationships for frameworks and tenders.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to training programs.
