Heidelberg Materials UK (formerly Hanson UK) is hiring a Quantity Surveyor for the Nuclear Project, based in Chipping Sodbury, to support commercial delivery and manage material supply contracts with a focus on robust financial performance.

You will work with the Senior Quantity Surveyor and Head of Nuclear to administer NEC contracts, produce forecasts, and maintain financial controls, with travel to sites as required.

Qualifications

• Strong NEC contract administration experience.
• Commercial awareness and financial reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and proactively.
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Leading Quantity Surveying functions across allocated contracts.
• Administering NEC contracts, valuations, and compensation events.
• Managing cost, revenue, and cash collection throughout the project lifecycle.
• Supporting procurement and subcontractor engagement.
• Producing commercial reports and forecasts for senior stakeholders.
• Ensuring compliance with contract terms and company procedures.
• Site visits for audits, meetings, and training as required.
