Job summary

Heidelberg Materials UK seeks a Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of the Nuclear Project. Based in Chipping Sodbury, you will manage NEC contracts, valuations, cost control, and robust commercial reporting across the contract lifecycle to drive value and risk mitigation.

You will work closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor and Head of Nuclear, travel to project sites when required, ensure compliance with contract terms and company procedures, and contribute to procurement

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in NEC contract administration
  • Commercial awareness and financial reporting skills
  • Ability to work independently and proactively

Responsibilities

  • Leading Quantity Surveying functions across allocated contracts
  • Administering NEC contracts, valuations, and compensation events
  • Managing cost, revenue, and cash collection throughout the project lifecycle
  • Supporting procurement and subcontractor engagement
  • Producing commercial reports and forecasts for senior stakeholders
