Job summary

NG Bailey in Burghfield near Reading is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Strategic Projects Engineering Division on a nuclear project. The role focuses on maximising profitability and financial performance of medium to large projects.

You will apply best commercial practices, manage subcontractors, forecast cash flow, and report costs and margins. Security clearance is required; British nationals who have not worked outside the UK in five years

Qualifications

• Experience with commercial management of medium to large MEP projects.
• Strong focus on quality and safety, nuclear safety culture.
• Ability to obtain SC security clearance or existing clearance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety is visible in all project activities.
• Review contract terms, identify risks and opportunities.
• Manage cash flow forecasting, payments and forecasts.
• Monitor costs and revenue through project lifecycle.
• Assist procurement and subcontractor management.
• Provide accurate cost reporting and margins.
