Job summary

Morgan Sindall Infrastructure is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major nuclear infrastructure programme at Sellafield. You will provide commercial leadership, manage NEC3/NEC4 contracts, and deliver robust financial controls within NEC Option E.

You will lead a small commercial team, drive cost control, and safeguard the business by ensuring strong governance and accurate CVR reporting. The role is based on site in Cumbria and requires UK right to work.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Experience leading commercial activities on major infrastructure projects.
• Extensive knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts.
• Experience producing CVR reporting and forecasting.
• Ability to lead and develop commercial teams.
• Membership or progression towards RICS/CIOB/ICES or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Take full commercial ownership of a significant-value nuclear infrastructure project from delivery through to completion.
• Lead all commercial and contract management under NEC3/NEC4, with focus on NEC Option E.
• Provide senior commercial leadership and oversight to project teams.
• Manage and mentor commercial team members, including line management responsibilities.
• Lead preparation and delivery of CVRs, forecasts, budgets, and financial reports.
• Oversee compensation events and early warnings processes and resolutions.
• Support teams in assessing change, risk, and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships across client, delivery teams, and supply chain partners.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, governance, and contractual obligations.
• Protect Morgan Sindall Infrastructure's commercial position and entitlements.
• Utilise CEMAR and other CM systems for contract administration.
