Job summary

Babcock is offering a 4-year Project Controls Degree Apprenticeship in its Cavendish Nuclear division. You will develop skills in cost engineering, estimating, planning, scheduling and risk management while studying for a BSc (Hons) in Project Controls at the University of Cumbria.

You will gain practical, on-the-job training, working on nuclear engineering and decommissioning projects, with progression opportunities and support through the Apprentice Development Programme.

Qualifications

• GCSEs: at least 5 passes with Maths, English and Science
• 2 A Levels including Maths and English, or Level 3 equivalent (e.g., BTEC)
• Requires BPSS and Security Check clearance; may be restricted by nationality/residency

Responsibilities

• Assist in producing estimates, plans and schedules.
• Work on reports to track project delivery across nuclear projects.
• Receive training in project controls systems.
