Job summary

Babcock International, through its Cavendish Nuclear business, invites applicants to join a 4-year Project Controls Degree Apprenticeship that leads to a BSc (Hons) in Project Controls from the University of Cumbria. You’ll be trained in cost engineering, estimating, planning, scheduling and risk management within nuclear projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, including Maths, English and Science.
• 2 A Levels including Maths and English or an equivalent Level 3 qualification (e.g. BTEC).
• Security clearance requirements: BPSS and SC clearance; sole UK national eligibility for some programmes.
• Eligible applicants will be assessed fairly and without discrimination.

Responsibilities

• Assist in producing estimates, plans, and schedules.
• Track and monitor project delivery across nuclear engineering and decommissioning projects.
• Receive training in our project controls systems.
