Over four years, you will combine practical engineering with study at the University of Lancashire, earning a BEng (Hons) in Professional Engineering (Product Design) and a Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship.

You will contribute to Civil Decommissioning or Defence streams, design control systems, develop CAD models, perform electrical load calculations and learn to meet

Qualifications

• Programme focuses on product development, materials science, CAD, systems integration and prototyping.

Responsabilités

• Support the full design lifecycle from concept to detailed design and design for manufacture.
• Produce technical documentation and assess designs for risk and safety.
• Learn to work with standards and regulations across the industry.
• Engage in internal training including radiological shielding, risk assessment and nuclear appreciation modules.
