Job summary

Babcock International in Warrington invites you to join a four-year Project Controls Degree Apprenticeship. You’ll gain a BSc (Hons) Degree in Project Controls from the University of Cumbria while working on nuclear projects in Cavendish Nuclear.

As an apprentice, you’ll learn cost engineering, estimating, planning, scheduling and risk management, producing estimates, and monitoring delivery. The programme combines practical on-the-job training with university study and BPSS/SC clearance

Qualifications

• GCSEs: minimum of 5 at grade 4 (C) or above, including Maths, English and Science.
• 2 A Levels including Maths and English or an equivalent Level 3 qualification (e.g., BTEC).
• Must be able to obtain BPSS and Security Check (SC) clearance; see GOV.UK for details.
• Under national security legislation, the post may be occupied by a sole UK national.

Responsibilities

• Assist in producing estimates, plans, and schedules.
• Work on reports to track and monitor project delivery across nuclear engineering and decommissioning projects.
• Receive training in our project controls systems.
