Job summary

Amentum seeks a Technical Project Director to lead a GW-scale Nuclear Power Plant Programme in Poland, with UK or Slovakia options. The role reports to the Client and coordinates engineering, licensing, design and regulatory engagement across the lifecycle, from development to operations.

Based in the UK/Poland/Slovakia with regular client-site travel, you will build the Client's Design Authority, govern technical decisions, and ensure safety, quality and programme performance in a complex

Qualifications

Bachelor level or higher in engineering or nuclear discipline.
Chartered Engineer or equivalent international registration is desirable.
Strong senior technical leadership credentials in regulated industries.

Responsibilities

Provide executive technical leadership across development, licensing, design, procurement, construction and transition to operations.
Establish and mature the Client's Design Authority and Intelligent Customer capabilities.
Oversee regulatory engagement with nuclear authorities and ensure safety, quality and licensing milestones are met.
Maintain technical governance, assurance and configuration management across the programme.
Lead knowledge transfer from vendor/EPC to the Client organisation.
