Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Technical Project Director to be based in Poland, UK or Slovakia, with regular travel to Warsaw and the Northern Poland region. This senior role oversees the technical integrity, engineering leadership and regulatory readiness of a GW-scale nuclear power plant programme, serving as the Client’s Deputy to the Project Delivery Director.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or international equivalent.
• Senior technical leadership credentials in nuclear or regulated sectors.
• Major programme/project management qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for engineering, licensing, safety and governance.
• Oversee engineering, licensing, safety and technical readiness across the programme.
• Lead Design Authority and Intelligent Customer activities for the EPC arrangement.
• Foster regulatory engagement with authorities and government stakeholders.
• Ensure knowledge transfer from vendor/EPC to the Client organisation.
• Direct technical governance, assurance and risk management.
