Job summary

Join Babcock as a Process and Plant Engineer Degree Apprentice at Devonport, Plymouth. Over five years you will study for a BEng in Professional Engineering (Science Industry Process/Plant Engineer) and work on nuclear-regulated projects from Design to Operations.

You’ll rotate across teams, gain practical engineering experience, and develop through the Apprentice Development Programme. Starting salary £27,381 with annual increases; you must be onsite at Devonport for at least three days a week

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English at grade 4 or above.
• Three A levels at grades CCC or above, including a maths-based STEM subject.
• Eligible for BPSS, SC and NNPI security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Support design, technical assurance and engineering activities within a nuclear-regulated environment.
• Contribute to projects across the engineering lifecycle at Devonport.
• Develop through placements across teams and gain practical experience and technical training.

Education

GCSEs 4+ in Maths and English
