Job summary

NUVIA UK is seeking a Process Engineer to join the Technical Services & Consulting team in Warrington. You will work with a small team to deliver process designs on medium/large-scale projects, focusing on effluent handling, sampling systems, and safety cases in a highly regulated environment.

The role requires a Masters or Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering, strong communication and report-writing skills, and the ability to work under time and cost constraints, with hybrid working options

Qualifications

• Strong communication and report-writing abilities.
• Experience designing/assessing fluidic systems for hazardous liquids.
• Familiarity with safety case development (BoPS) and nuclear safety considerations.
• Ability to work under time and cost constraints on medium/large-scale projects.
• Working with diverse engineering disciplines and client processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver items against project schedule within a small team of process engineers, reporting to client process lead.
• Regularly report progress to Project Management and Engineering Manager.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary design team and non-engineering functions.
• Gather information on effluent routes and establish safe discharge limits with coordinators.
• Assess existing flushing systems and propose modifications or replacements as needed.
• Develop sampling systems for bulk pond and container sampling.
