Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear, part of Babcock International Group, seeks a Process Engineering Manager for Warrington or Preston with a hybrid working pattern. This role leads complex process engineering programmes from concept to delivery and commissioning, across regulated industries.

You will guide multidisciplinary teams, manage projects to safety, quality and budget, and mentor colleagues to develop capability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Process Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards professional registration.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams on process-led projects.
• Experience across lifecycle from concept to delivery.
• Strong communication with customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Manage engineering activities from concept through construction and delivery.
• Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and project teams to resolve challenges.
• Ensure outputs meet quality, safety, regulatory, and technical assurance standards.
• Develop engineering capability through mentoring and continuous improvement.
