Job summary

NUVIA UK is seeking a Process Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team delivering process designs for nuclear-related projects. You will work within a hybrid setup, coordinating with cross-functional teams and fielding inputs from various engineering and non-engineering functions.

Responsibilities include developing safety cases, evaluating effluent handling, and delivering detailed design documentation under regulatory constraints. Prior experience in nuclear safety is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Working with process engineers across disciplines to deliver designs on medium/large projects.
• Strong communication and collaboration with multi-discipline teams.
• Good report writing and concise documentation of findings.
• Ability to work under tight time and cost constraints.

Responsibilities

• Deliver project items in line with schedule while reporting to client process lead.
• Regularly report progress to Project Management and Engineering Manager.
• Collaborate with design team and non-engineering functions.
• Gather information on effluent routes and set safe discharge limits with coordinators.
• Assess flushing systems for new container types and identify required modifications.
• Develop sampling systems for ponds and container activity releases.
• Develop safety cases and present designs at assurance reviews.
