Cavendish Nuclear, a core part of Babcock International Group, is seeking a Process Engineering Manager to lead complex programmes at Warrington or Preston. The role involves guiding projects from concept through to commissioning, with three days per week on site and flexible hybrid arrangements.

You will drive safe delivery, manage multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate closely with customers and stakeholders to overcome technical challenges and

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams on complex process-led projects.
• Background in chemical, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, oil & gas, or regulated industries.
• Experience managing complete project lifecycle from concept to commissioning.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-discipline communication.
• Experience applying safety, quality & technical assurance standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate engineering teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
• Oversee full lifecycle from concept design through construction and delivery.
• Collaborate with customers and project teams to resolve technical and delivery challenges.
• Ensure outputs comply with regulatory and quality standards.
• Develop engineering capability through mentoring and continuous improvement.
