Job summary

Dalkia on the Hinkley Point C project is seeking a Planning Manager to lead the development, maintenance and analysis of complex project schedules. You will work with delivery teams, subcontractors and stakeholders to own the planning process, build robust programmes and provide reliable forecasts.

Strong planning fundamentals and practical scheduling capability are essential; nuclear experience is not strictly required, but a willingness to learn new systems and collaborate across the wider

Qualifications

• Substantial practical experience in planning and scheduling within construction, engineering or similar project-delivery environments.
• Hands-on experience with recognised planning software.
• Knowledge of schedule development, logic, progress measurement, forecasting, baseline management and change control.
• Experience owning project programmes, coordinating planning inputs and delivering accurate forecasts.
• Experience working with delivery teams and subcontractors to validate progress and develop realistic sequences.
• Ability to identify schedule risks, constraints and dependencies, and work with teams on mitigation.
• Mentoring or coordinating other planners is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning function for assigned projects with hands-on development and updates of detailed schedules.
• Coordinate planners’ workloads and outputs, ensuring information is accurate and delivered on time.
• Maintain planning standards, review schedule quality and dependencies.
• Lead progress reviews, validate progress and forecast information.
• Oversee risk analysis, delays and change control in schedules.
