Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear offers a 4-year Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Engineering Degree Apprenticeship in Warrington. You will gain hands-on experience designing, building and maintaining nuclear facilities while pursuing a funded qualification.

You'll work across Civil Decommissioning or Defence streams, learning CAD, control systems and electrical calculations, with development modules including risk and regulatory training.

Qualifications

• GCSEs C/4+ including Maths, English and Science.
• 104 UCAS points from A Levels including Maths and Physics or STEM at grade C.
• BTEC Extended Diploma: DMM in Engineering including Maths units.
• Access/IB/T Level equivalents with required points.
• IELTS 6.0 overall with no component below 5.5.

Responsibilities

• Design control systems and CAD models for nuclear facilities.
• Perform electrical load calculations and contribute to design documentation.
• Support full design lifecycle from concept through to detailed design.
• Learn standards and regulations applying to the industry.
