Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking a Design Implementation Engineer to bridge the gap between approved design and on-site implementation at Devonport. You will work with Responsible Designers, delivery teams, contractors, and users to ensure facilities are built safely and to nuclear safety requirements.

The role involves coordinating Designer Site Representative activities, reviewing technical queries, and ensuring all construction activities align with approved designs and specifications, with emphasis on

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Experience delivering major infrastructure projects.
• Experience designing and substantiating heavy civil engineering or building structures to seismic codes and nuclear safety requirements.
• Experience with construction techniques for nuclear safety-related structures and buildings.
• Experience on major infrastructure projects within a nuclear-licensed environment.
• Dock structures experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Designer Site Representative activities and respond to site queries.
• Review technical queries and changes, and ensure construction activities comply with approved designs and specifications.
• Review inspection and test documentation, construction reports, risk assessments, method statements, temporary works designs and material approvals.
• Support management of non-conformances and undertake targeted site surveillance to ensure works meet required standards.
