Job summary

Devonport-based role with the Major Infrastructure Projects team, focused on delivering infrastructure that underpins the UK's ship and submarine sustainment programmes. The Design Implementation Engineer will bridge approved design and on-site execution, collaborating with Responsible Designers, delivery teams, contractors and users to meet technical and nuclear safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Experience delivering major infrastructure projects in a nuclear-licensed environment preferred.
• Experience with seismic codes and nuclear safety requirements is essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Designer Site Representative activities on site.
• Respond to site queries and review technical queries and changes.
• Ensure construction activities comply with approved designs and specifications.
