Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced Project Engineer (Electrical) to join our PMR team supporting EDF Nuclear Generation at Sizewell B. You’ll deliver projects in a regulated environment, report to the Operations Manager, and work mainly on site with potential hybrid arrangements. Occasional UK travel is possible.

You’ll develop your skills with experienced mentors, access training, and contribute to safe, successful project delivery while balancing site, office, and home working as required.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or related discipline (Chartered status desirable).
• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) qualification or equivalent.
• Experience applying modern project management techniques within complex organisations.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle: engineering, design, procurement, safety case, construction, installation and commissioning.
• Experience supporting projects through full lifecycle including design reviews and supplier engagement.
• Experience in estimating, cost control, planning and commercial management, including business cases.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure alignment with baselines and company policies.
• Own delivery of project activities and achieve set objectives.
• Build strong relationships with client teams and stakeholders across the organisation.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues; maintain productive networks.
