Job summary

Amentum is recruiting an experienced EC&I Project Engineer to join our Nuclear Power Engineering and Technical Services team, supporting EDF Energy Nuclear Generation across the UK. The role is based at the Heysham Power Station with hybrid working options and progression opportunities within a highly regulated environment.

You will work under senior project engineering management, developing leadership skills on larger, more complex projects while maintaining safety and quality at every stage.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and organisational skills are essential.
• Experience delivering complex projects in regulated environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of safety, environmental, and quality standards is required.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain engineering documentation including quality plans and specs.
• Manage technical queries per processes and procedures.
• Support contractor selection and contract placement processes.
• Perform technical reviews of contractor documents and drawings.
• Carry out feasibility studies and site surveys; liaise with designers and station staff.
• Prepare Engineering Changes and supporting documents; manage test documents.
