Job summary

Babcock International operates Cavendish Nuclear and offers an Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Engineering Degree Apprenticeship in Leicester. Over four years, you will rotate through six-month placements across our engineering domains, gaining hands-on experience and a formal degree.

You will study towards the Nuclear Scientist and Nuclear Engineer Degree Apprenticeship standard, with part-time learning at the Nuclear Skills Academy in Derby.

Qualifications

• GCSEs: 4/C or above including Maths, English and Science.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through 6-month placements across Cavendish Nuclear areas.
• Support design, build and maintenance of nuclear facilities.
• Engage with mentors to develop technical skills and professional practice.
• Progress toward Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status.
