Job summary

Vulcain Engineering is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to support administration and management of major supplier and contractor agreements across the Hinkley Point C programme. You will work with project teams, procurement, commercial managers and contractors to ensure obligations are met and risks are minimised.

This onsite role offers exposure to a nationally significant project in a highly regulated environment, with opportunities to advance within a leading engineering consultancy.

Qualifications

• Minimum proven contract management experience in nuclear, energy, infrastructure or major construction projects.
• Strong understanding of NEC3/NEC4 and FIDIC contracts.
• Experience managing contractor and supplier relationships on complex projects.
• Knowledge of change control, compensation events and variation processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage contracts through full lifecycle from award to close-out.
• Administer contracts under NEC3, NEC4 and FIDIC frameworks.
• Interpret and advise on contractual obligations and entitlement positions.
• Manage notices, early warnings, compensation events and variations.
• Support change management, claims administration and dispute resolution.
• Review contractor submissions, applications for payment and programme updates.
