Job summary

EDF is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Project Manager in delivering defined work packages on a major nuclear project at Hinkley Point C. The role involves on-site leadership, planning, coordination with multiple interfaces, and ensuring compliance with nuclear standards and HSE/CDM requirements.

You will assist in delivering engineering, fabrication and installation activities while driving progress across scope, schedule and cost.

Qualifications

• CCNSG certification or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a similar Project Engineer/Construction role within a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Manager to deliver defined work packages within scope, schedule, cost and quality.
• Assist with planning, scheduling and coordination of project work packages.
• Monitor progress against baseline programme and report variances.
• Prepare RAMS, reports and commercial correspondence.
• Coordinate with off-site teams and subcontractors to ensure timely provision of materials and resources.
• Support construction readiness including permits and prerequisites.
• Lead meetings with on-site and off-site teams to drive deliverables.
• Support engineering, fabrication and installation activities on site.
• Ensure compliance with HSE and CDM requirements.
• Maintain progress reporting and change control documentation.
