Job summary

Commercial Manager - Nuclear - Suffolk is sought to lead NEC-based commercial management on major infrastructure projects in the Nuclear sector. Remote with 3 days on-site every other week in Suffolk, supporting multi-disciplinary teams and governance across the programme.

The role focuses on cost control, challenging estimates, contract administration, and stakeholder engagement to ensure on-time delivery within budget and compliant commercial practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience in commercial management on major infrastructure projects.
• Strong NEC contracts knowledge and change management experience.
• Proven ability to challenge costs and support project teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee commercial performance across major infrastructure work packages including budgets and forecasts.
• Critically assess costs, estimates and proposals, identifying savings and risks.
• Manage NEC contract administration and compensation events with records and governance.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and clients to resolve commercial issues.
• Identify risks and prepare cost reports and forecasts with clear senior-level recommendations.
