Job summary

Assystem is seeking a design-focused Civil Engineer for a major UK nuclear project. You will contribute to reinforced concrete design and detailing, apply Eurocodes, and work with Autodesk Revit and Civil 3D to deliver compliant, safe structures.

The role emphasizes design office experience, CDM 2015 compliance, and strong stakeholder engagement within a highly regulated engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience in civil engineering design office environments.
• Strong reinforced concrete design and detailing experience.
• Proficient understanding of Eurocodes and structural design standards.
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015 and safety compliance.
• Experience using Autodesk Civil 3D and Autodesk Revit.
• Nuclear sector experience advantageous but not essential.
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight on reinforced concrete design and detailing.
• Resolve engineering challenges and ensure design deliverables meet safety and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with design teams and stakeholders across the project lifecycle.
