Job summary

Taylor Walton on the Luton branch seeks an ambitious NQ Employment Solicitor to join our Employment team. You will advise employers and employees, handle settlement agreements, and participate in Employment Tribunal work. The role supports growth across a broad client base and involves mentoring junior lawyers.

Qualifications

• NQ Employment Solicitor with up to 2 years' PQE and at least 6 months as a Trainee in Employment.
• Exposure to both contentious and non-contentious employment work.
• Experience in employment-related corporate support is a plus.
• Strong academics and high attention to detail; ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day employment advice for employers and employees.
• Negotiate settlement agreements.
• Involvement in Employment Tribunal work including advocacy.
• Handle employment aspects of corporate transactions, e.g. TUPE, due diligence, warranties.
• Develop and expand a client base; participate in business development.
• Provide leadership and supervision to trainees and junior team members.
