Job summary

Teledyne Microwave UK Lincoln is seeking an NPI Technician to transition products from design to manufacturing and ensure successful launches as standard products. You will work with engineering, manufacturing, and other departments to drive the NPI process, meeting quality, cost, and schedule targets.

Key responsibilities include planning NPI projects, developing manufacturing processes, and preparing documentation for production.

Qualifications

• Engineering knowledge of manufacturing processes, engineering design principles, and quality control.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to identify and resolve issues with parts and processes.
• Clear verbal and written communication to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Analytical mindset to analyze data and identify improvement opportunities.
• Experience applying continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ability to train production staff on new processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Project management: plan and manage NPI projects with timelines and specs.
• Process development: help develop manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures and test procedures.
• Documentation: prepare manufacturing work instructions and process records.
• Collaboration: work with cross-functional teams to address technical and materials challenges.
