Job summary

Rittal-CSM Ltd in Plymouth, Devon, is seeking an NPI Project Manager to lead the introduction of new products from concept to launch, coordinating timelines, budgets, resources and risks within a complex manufacturing environment.

You will lead cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and quality, manage phase-gate reviews and ensure on-time delivery and product readiness for production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, business management or project management.
• PMQ or equivalent project management certification preferred.
• Substantial project management experience in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of product development lifecycles.
• Proficiency with project management tools and NPI processes.
• SAP experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver new products on time, within scope and budget.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
• Drive governance through phase-gate reviews, risk assessments and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with customers, design, operations, and commercial teams to define requirements.
• Coordinate prototype builds, testing, validation and pilot production.
• Track and report project performance using KPIs and dashboards for stakeholders.
