Job summary

Cooper Parry is seeking graduates and school leavers to start an Audit career in our Not-for-Profit Practice based in the East and West Midlands. You will specialise in charities, educational institutions and mission-driven organisations while gaining exposure to Private Business, Big Business and Pensions.

You will study for ACA with on-the-job learning and college courses. The programme begins in May 2027, with assessment centres on multiple dates.

Qualifications

• Completed degree by start date (graduating students welcome).
• 3 A Levels at BBB or better, including a numerical or business-related subject.
• Interest in pursuing ACA qualification and audit disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing client information such as invoices, bank statements and payroll reports.
• Assessing the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
• Attending client year-end stocktakes (weekends/around Christmas may occur).
• Speaking with client finance teams to understand systems and processes.
• Assisting in preparing financial statements using audit software.
• Working in small teams to perform testing and contribute to audit reports.
• Meeting deadlines and supporting the team to deliver high-quality work.
