Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is recruiting a Field Sales Manager for the Timber/Wood industry in the North West (Manchester, Cheshire, Lancashire & Merseyside). You will manage an established portfolio of ~60 accounts from day one while seeking new business opportunities across the region.

The role requires timber/wood sector experience, strong relationship skills, and the ability to work independently in a field-based territory.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience within timber/wood sector.
• Knowledge of timber products, hardwood/softwood is a plus.
• Proven ability to grow existing accounts and win new business.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of approximately 60 existing customer accounts.
• Identify and win new business opportunities across the North West.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with timber merchants, importers and other customers.
• Conduct regular customer visits and develop long-term partnerships.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales, grow account value and market share.
• Plan customer visits and prioritise sales opportunities across the territory.
• Work towards sales targets and contribute to business growth.
