Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking a Field Sales Manager in the timber/wood sector to cover the North West (Manchester, Cheshire, Lancashire & Merseyside). You will manage an existing portfolio of around 60 accounts from day one and develop new business across the region.

Build strong relationships with timber merchants, drive revenue, and work towards sales targets with a field-based, independent approach. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in timber or wood industry sales.
• Ability to manage and grow accounts across a region.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of approximately 60 existing accounts.
• Identify and win new business opportunities in the North West.
• Build and maintain relationships with timber merchants, importers and other customers.
• Visit customers regularly and develop long-term commercial partnerships.
• Aim to increase sales, account value and market share.
