Job summary

MacGregor Black is partnering with a growing Drinks distribution business to recruit a Regional Sales Manager for the North West (Manchester, Liverpool and surrounding area). The role is permanent and field-based, focusing on new business with Independent Free Trade and On-Trade groups, while growing an existing customer base.

Ideal candidates will have proven drinks sales experience, strong knowledge of the Manchester/Liverpool hospitality scene, and a proactive approach to winning new accounts

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience in drinks, especially spirits, is essential.
• Strong knowledge of Manchester and Liverpool hospitality scenes is required.
• Ability to win new accounts and secure listings in On-Trade environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business across the North West On-Trade, securing opportunities.
• Build relationships with independent operators and regional groups (3–5 sites).
• Secure distribution, menu listings and increased visibility for the portfolio.
• Plan activations to build brand awareness and sales velocity.
• Grow existing accounts via regular contact and commercial planning.
• Maintain a healthy new-business pipeline and work autonomously.
