Job summary

Modern Milkman is seeking a Team Leader to build and grow our door-to-door sales team in the North East. This hands-on leadership role covers performance management, field coaching, and recruitment, with a clear path to senior leadership as we scale.

Based in Newcastle or nearby with a full UK driving licence, you will lead by example on the doorstep, hit targets, and develop your team through coaching, data-driven decisions, and hands-on field work.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a sales leadership, supervisory, or team captain role (D2D or field sales experience strongly preferred).
• Track record of hitting targets personally, and helping others do the same.
• Confident coaching and giving direct feedback.
• Comfortable recruiting and interviewing.
• Comfortable working with data and reports to track performance and guide decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day performance of your team, tracking KPIs and quality standards.
• Use sales data and reporting to spot trends, identify who needs support, and make decisions.
• Run regular 1:1s and team reviews.
• Coach and develop reps to hit and exceed their targets.
• Report on team performance and uphold Modern Milkman standards.
