Job summary

Fusion Utilities, part of the Wolseley Group, is hiring an Area Sales Manager - Multi Utilities (North). This field-based role covers the North of the UK, with regular travel to customer sites, branches and partners.

You will develop sales across an established base, identify new opportunities, and deliver a customer-first approach while growing margins and market share. This is a full-time, field-based position requiring travel across the North.

Qualifications

• Proven success in an external sales, account management or business development role.
• Strong experience building and maintaining customer relationships, with a consultative approach.
• Track record of driving sales growth and delivering commercial results.
• Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently across a large geographical area.
• Willingness to learn and develop product knowledge; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Developing and growing sales across an established customer base whilst identifying and securing new business opportunities.
• Delivering a customer-first approach, ensuring customers receive exceptional service and commercially beneficial solutions.
• Building strong relationships with customers, stakeholders and internal teams to maximise opportunities and drive business growth.
• Growing sales, margin and market share across your territory through effective account management and business development activity.
• Working collaboratively with branches and specialist teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience and achieve business objectives.
