Asda Stores Ltd. Poole is seeking a Non Food Manager to lead our George and GM departments, delivering strong availability and high shop floor standards through great execution, seasonal events and in-store theatre while ensuring safety and legal compliance for customers and colleagues.

You will drive trading activity on the shopfloor, coach your team to improve routines, label and display products to promote sell-through, and foster a culture of service with heart and pride.

At Asda, we want you to find your everything as a Non-Food Manager, you’ll play a vital role in the day-to-day running of our George and GM departments in store by delivering the best availability and highest shop floor standards through brilliant execution, seasonal events and theatre in store whilst ensuring the store is safe and legal for our customer and colleagues.

What qualities you’ll need:

• Drive strategy into action: Planning and executing all trading activity on the shopfloor, delivering great availability standards, key metrics and KRAs through routine and processes.
• Lead with impact: Engaging and coaching your team to constantly improve routine and process whilst creating a culture of selling our customers with personality, serving with heart and pride, and get one more item in every basket.
• Results-focused: Ensuring shopfloor and promotional activity is landed to brief and on time to drive the store selling agenda by ensuring products are clearly labelled and displayed to promote sell through.
• Talent Development: Listen with empathy, driving resilience and encourage ownership, focus and passion for the business by bringing the “Asdaness” to work every day and supporting the development of the team and creating an environment where people feel valued, trusted, and motivated to step up.

What you’ll bring:

• Experience as Team Leader or Supervisor in a retail environment.
• Operational knowledge on non-food departments.
• Knowledge of improving availability, reducing waste, and managing shrink.
• Experience developing teams and managing change through leadership and building resilience.
• Strong organisational skills and great customer service.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings.
