Job summary

ASDA Frome is seeking a Non-Food Manager to lead the George and GM departments, delivering top-notch availability and store standards through brilliant execution, seasonal events and in-store theatre while keeping the store safe and compliant for customers and colleagues.

You will drive trading activity, lead and coach your team, and ensure promotions are delivered on time with clear labelling and displays. The role requires flexibility to work days, weekends and evenings across a 45-hour week.

Qualifications

• Experience as Team Leader or Supervisor in a retail environment.
• Operational knowledge on non-food departments.
• Knowledge of improving availability, reducing waste, and managing shrink.
• Experience developing teams and managing change through leadership.
• Strong organisational skills and great customer service.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute all trading activity on the shopfloor to deliver great availability and KRAs.
• Lead with impact by coaching the team and promoting selling with personality and pride.
• Ensure promotional activity lands to brief and on time to drive sell-through and correct labelling/displaying.
