Job summary

Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust is recruiting for a PTS Ambulance Care Assistant to support patients across West Yorkshire. You will be transporting patients to and from appointments and assisting with hospital discharge as needed, while maintaining a compassionate, patient-focused approach.

The role involves driving across the region, delivering high-quality patient care, and working as part of a team to ensure safe, respectful journeys for all service users.

Qualifications

• Must have good communication with patients and healthcare representatives.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service in diverse situations.
• Full UK manual driving licence required for the role.
• Willingness to perform manual handling tasks and support patients.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from healthcare appointments across West Yorkshire.
