About The Job You're Considering

Capgemini Engineering are looking to recruit Stress Engineers with knowledge of non-conformance within an aerospace/marine engineering background.

Your Role

• Assessing impact of non-conformance on component suitability and system performance
• Sentence concessions or repairs with justified engineering statements
• Perform hand calculations and FE analysis
• Assess engineering drawings and follow procedures
• Liaise with specialists and design for manufacture
• Perform various analyses (static stress, fatigue, life assessments, etc.)
• Assess repair and concession activities
• Present and report findings internally and externally
• Maintain relationships with clients and represent team in meetings

Skills and Experience

• Degree in engineering or scientific discipline, ideally mechanical
• Experience in stress engineering for aerospace systems
• Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes
• Experience with manufacturing, producibility, and concessions
• Ability to work accurately under deadlines
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
