Job summary

Quickline in Willerby, East Riding of Yorkshire, is seeking a NOC Engineer to monitor and manage the Quickline Next-Generation Hybrid Network onsite at the Willerby Office.

You will respond to incidents, manage changes and help secure the network; experience with network switching, VLANs, subnets, routing and RCA/RFOs is preferred. The role offers onsite work with a range of benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience as a NOC Engineer or in a similar role.
• Experience in network switching, FWA 5GHz, VLANs, subnets and routing protocols.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced network environment.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft packages; strong attention to detail.
• Experience with RCA and RFO processes.
• Working knowledge of SONAR and Zabbix preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and management of Quickline infrastructure, radio and 5G networks.
• Rapid response to issues, outages and alarms.
• Incident management and reporting on potential issues affecting the Quickline network.
• Managing security on the Quickline network including access to sites, street cabinets and key locations.
